تعتبر رؤية الدكتور عبد الله النفيسي من أكثر القراءات إثارة للجدل، حيث يرى أن بذور التأسيس لم تكن عربية خالصة، بل كانت "طبخة بريطانية" أعدها وزير الخارجية آنذاك أنتوني إيدن. ووفقاً لهذا التحليل، كان الهدف البريطاني هو احتواء المد القومي العربي المتصاعد ووضعه في إطار مؤسسي يسهل التحكم به، ويضمن بقاء الحدود التي رسمها الاستعمار. 🕵️♂️
